SUMMER TAG RUGBY
The Summer Tag Rugby Program was established in 1998 and is for Boys AND Girls 5 to 16** years of age. (Players must have been 15 on September 1st of the original school year).
Kids play a non-contact (NO TACKLE), touch version of sevens rugby, allowing them to learn the basics of rugby in a co-ed team format. Our goal is to encourage the kids to learn about the sport, to work as a team, treat everyone with respect, and most of all, enjoy the experience!!
The Summer Tag Season goes from the first week of June to the end of July with a end of season Tournament where over 13 Clubs and 700 kids come together for a full day of Rugby!

U9 - Ages 7 & 8
U11 - Ages 9 & 10
U13 - Ages 11 & 12
U16 - Ages 13, 14, & 15

Games are Scheduled for Saturday Mornings.
**All Age Groups will have their matches on the same days and at the same locations**
End of Season Maryland Tournament is the last full weekend in July and is on BOTH Saturday and Sunday
UNIFORMS
Player Registration includes a Jersey, Shorts and Socks To Keep.
Cleats are recommended, but are not required for participation in Summer Tag.
Football, Soccer, or Lacrosse Cleats are allowed for use by USA Rugby.
