BOYS TACKLE RUGBY
The Boys Tackle Rugby Program was adopted in 2021 continue to offer the advancement of Rugby to players that wanted to grow to the next level of Rugby. Our Goal is to continue to encourage Boys ages 10-18 to try Tackle Rugby where we will teach the Laws of the Game established by USA and World Rugby focusing on safe practices, sportsmanship, and correct forms and positioning while creating a fun and positive experience!

When
Boys Tackle Rugby is played in BOTH the Fall and the Spring. Each Season focuses on a different form of Tackle Rugby.

GAMES
Games are Scheduled by Rugby Maryland and are typically held on Sundays.
UNIFORMS
Player Registration includes Rugby Shorts and Socks To Keep.
Official Tackle Rugby Jerseys are handed out prior to each Match and collected at the end of the Matches.
**PLAYERS DO NOT KEEP THE JERSEY**
EQUIPMENT
Players will need a Mouth Guard and Cleats.
Football, Soccer, or Lacrosse Cleats are allowed for use by USA Rugby.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Any Player playing Tackle Rugby is required to Register in Rugby Explorer PRIOR to the first Match of the Season. (https://xplorer.rugby/)
